Dear Lodge No. 3 Members-
Per guidelines issued by the State of California Sunday afternoon March 15th, San Francisco Elks Lodge facilities (lounge & gym) are closed to all members for the immediate future. Additionally, all regularly scheduled Lodge Meetings and Events are cancelled until further notice. Furthermore, the 2020/2021 Officer Installation ceremony that was scheduled for April 3rd is being postponed.
The governor has ordered all bars in the state to close. Additionally, the California Department of Public Health has strong recommendations against a gathering of more than 10 people who are at higher risk of severe illness from the virus. Our median age is now 55.4 which means a large number of our membership is at risk.
We will continue to keep the membership apprised of any changes and we appreciate your patience as we navigate these uncharted waters. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during this time as we all work together for the safety of our membership, staff, and guests.
