San Francisco Lodge No.3 is located at 450 Post Street, 3rd floor, in Union Square. Built in 1924 by renowned architects of the time, this building was exclusive to the Elks Club for a number of years. Now a co-tenant with Kensington Park Hotel, Ulla Restaurant and the Post Street Theater, this historic building with Spanish Gothic influences has an amazing set of facilities hidden within.
Interesting History Fact: Post Street Theater was the original Lodge room for the Elks Lodge! In fact you’ll see officer murals on the eastern and western walls.
The Grand Ballroom is used for Lodge meetings and events and is available for private and charity functions. Across the foyer from the ballroom is our fantastic restaurant, bar and lounge. These rooms feature intricately painted ceiling panels, exquisite period chandeliers, 15′ windows overlooking Union Square and a mahogany inlaid wood bar
