Please join us at the San Francisco Elks Lodge on Tuesday, August 2nd at 6:00pm for a special screening of the documentary film on Jim Marshall, “Show me the Picture” including a highly-curated panel discussion about the work of Jim Marshall comprised by Amelia Davis, David Gans, Meg Shiffler and Joel Selvin. This very special, live and in-person event will celebrate a San Francisco icon, in an architectural gem, and is absolutely not to be missed!

Jim Marshall (February 3, 1936 – March 24, 2010) was an American photographer and photojournalist who photographed musicians of the 1960s and 1970s. Earning the trust of his subjects, he had extended access to his subjects both on and off-stage. Marshall, a Grammy award winner, was the official photographer for the Beatles‘ final concert in San Francisco’s Candlestick Park, and was head-photographer at Woodstock.
